Sight Words to Know and Practice
It is important that your scholar know, spell, practice and use properly the sight words on this page. More words will be added as the year goes on. Thank you for your help!
Here are possible activities you can do with your scholar at home.
Rainbow Word: Write each letter of your sight word with a different color crayon.
Fancy Fingers: Use your fanciest writing to write words with bubbles, dots or other fancy letter.
Computer Fun: Use your computer to type out your words. Use different fonts to make it look really cute.
Sight Word Cheer: Pretend you are a cheerleader and cheer out your words to an adult, stuffed animal or friend.
Magazine Words: Cut out the letters of your sight words from magazine, newspapers, or old books and build each word. Glue them down onto a sheet of paper.
Lego Words: Write your sight words and put boxes around them that look like Legos!
